As  winter descends on Colorado, clinical psycohologist Alan Gregory attends the funeral of an old colleague. His death, which at first appeared to be a tragic climbing accident, begins to look more sinister.

Persuaded by two retired FBI investigators to examine his own past, Gregory is forced to revisit painful memories and realizes that the premature, but apparently innocent, deaths of old friends and colleagues are neither unsuspicious nor unconnected.

And worse, that a meticulous and relentless killer has Gregory‘s name next on his list…
